Tube Slats^®

Tube Slats^® are designed and manufactured to provide an economic form of privacy and decorative color to the structure, stability and longevity of a chain link fence. Tube Slats^® are formulated using High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), combined with additives to ensure color and functionality for many years. Together with the capability of enduring years of ultra-violet exposure from the sun, Tube Slats^® also utilize a unique locking feature, which secure the product firmly in the chain link mesh, and deters any theft or vandalism of the product.

  Design

  Every Tube Slat^® piece has a beveled cut on one end, as well as a notch, which is snapped into the Viper Channel™ locking rail at the bottom of the fence, and keeps each slat level, and securely in place.

• HDPE Properties

  Melt Index: (.08) A low melt index indicates improved stress and crack resistance.

  Density: (.953) High density for maximum stiffness without becoming brittle.

  Minimum Temperature: (-75℉) Polyethylene will not become brittle above this temperature.

  Maximum Temperature: (190℉) Polyethylene will not soften and/or distort below this temperature when installed in the chain-link wire.

  Tensile Strength: (4,000 psi) Polyethylene will not suffer any distortions at lesser loads or impacts.

• Colors

  Available in 9 standard colors; White, Beige, Gray, Sky Blue, Royal Blue, Green, Redwood, Brown, Black (custom colors available on request, with minimum order requirements).

• Heights

  Available in standard heights of 3’, 4’, 5’, 6’, 7’, 8’, 10’, 12’ (custom lengths available on request, with minimum order requirements).

• Packaging

  The packaging is a heavy-duty clear bag made from LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene), which includes UV inhibitors for durability in the sun. Each package contains 82 pieces, which is sufficient to cover 10 linear feet of chain link fence with 2” mesh. Also contained in the package are 3 Viper Channel™ pieces which are 42” in length (allowing for 10’ of coverage with 6” for spare). Inside the package, these channels are attached together with tape and a strip of "orange" ribbon extending out the end of the package so they are easily located for installation. Easy to follow installation instructions are also printed on the packaging.
